Did you compile with the source or install with the deb package?

I downloaded kernel source from kernel.org, patched it and make it to deb package. After that i install via dpkg -i.

we have the deb for ubuntu10.04, you can download it from our website, so you don't need to download kernel and patch it and compile， only install our deb and reboot

The website kernel.org say:

Latest Stable Kernel: 2.6.34

also if i use your deb package, i don't have kernel source, but i need it for my nvidia drivers.
