Ubuntu 10.04 problems

Okay, so I downloaded the 10.04 debs, followed the instructions and logged in.

The problem is however, that my Atheros card isnt being recognised at all (ath9k) which I usually run through ndiswrapper whose module wasn't recognised either.
My NVidia graphics card wasn't being initialised properly and I was only able to use low-graphics mode or without special effects.

This is my laptop:

MSI CR700
370 Gb HDD
3G RAM
GeForce 9200M G
Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter

I'd put money on that. Your pre-compiled kernel packages have horrid hardware support :-/

Do you have a HOWTO/tutorial you could link me to that would show me how I can build .deb packages of the Longene kernel after I enable some more hardware support in the configuration files? Many users are going to be put off from this wonderful project if things like their wifi cards and laptop touch pads stop working when they install the Longene kernel.

yes, we have the document "HOWTO/tutorial build deb package", but it's Chinese, we will translate it as soon as possible, then i will email to you

Attached are the file for building the package. Sorry for my delay, school has been kicking my ass the last couple weeks and I have not been able to get the new kernel packages built.

At this point I might just wait for Longene to move over to Wine 1.2 since it will be releasing soon (and has MUCH better application support than Wine 1.0).
